    For more than 25 years at Antaris Hotels we have had as a priority to operate under the highest standards of cleaning and security, today we add a star to the cleaning process with our StarClean Antaris Program designed to guarantee the protection and hygiene of our collaborators and guests.

    Here are the detailed measurements:

    General Measures

    • In each hotel a Health Protection and Prevention Management Committee has been formed to ensure the correct implementation of all new Health actions.
    • Health prevention measures are promoted and published in several public areas such as handwashing in bathrooms, basic symptoms of respiratory diseases, avoidance, physical greeting, etc.
    • The Committee keeps track of maintenance, cleaning and disinfection of all areas.
    • Each guest must use the shoe disinfecting mats under proper supervision when entering the hotel.

    Caution measures at Front Desk

    • Front Desk has disposable face masks to provide guests upon request.
    • During check-in, each guest is asked to have a Declaration of Health if they have had no symptoms or have had COVID-19 in the last 30 days
    • Each guest will be asked for permission to take and record the temperature as a preventive measure.
    • Signage has been installed on the floor indicating the distance that each guest should keep from each other.
    • Acrylic protective barriers have been placed at the Front Desk to protect both the guest and the collaborators.

    Additional Sanitary Measures in the Rooms

    • Our housekeeper team will wear gloves, face protector and mask while cleaning and disinfecting the room.
    • Cleaning work is avoided while the guest is in the room.
    • Pillows and any extra whites in the room are delivered upon request or kept in a closed bag.
    • Clean and/or dirty linens are transported in closed bags or containers.
    • Gloves are used for handling clean and/or dirty towels; the staff avoids shaking them at all times.
    • Guests are not allowed to enter the rooms upon check-in if they are not sealed.
    • All our mattresses undergo a steam disinfection process, which eliminates all bacteria and viruses.
    • After the departure of the guests, the room will undergo an advanced disinfection procedure by means of an electrostatic mist system that disinfects every corner of the room.
    • On the door of your room you will find the seal “StarClean”, which guarantees that the whole room has been properly disinfected according to the established protocols.
    • All guests will have access to antibacterial gel and face mask upon request
    • Room Service will be delivered outside the room at the door or may be inside only at guest’s request.

    Gym and Pool

    • At Gym y Pool there is disinfectant gel at the entrance and disinfectant towels.
    • Gym equipment and pool furniture will be cleaned constantly with authorized disinfectant products.
    • All areas are hazed at closing time. ( These areas will provide services when the health authorities authorize the use of them)

    Health controls and social distancing in public areas

    • The floor is marked with vinyl signs to indicate the distance that must be between person and person in the places where it is customary to make rows.
    • Disinfectant gel stations are available on site, as well as on-site access to restaurants and at Front Desk.
    • All areas are sanitized daily with a disinfection system.
    • All our furniture, goes through this disinfection process, and is placed following the measures of social distancing.

    Restaurant health protocols

    • Disinfectant gel is mandatory for all guests entering the restaurant.
    • Buffets are removed, the restaurant will be operated at 50% of its current capacity or what is necessary to respect the healthy distance.
    • A menu with QR code will be implemented so that the guest can view it from their cell phone, as an alternative to the physical menu.
    • Disinfectant wipes are provided for cell phone use.
    • All kitchen areas comply with protocols as indicated by the Health Department.

    Social meeting and events

    • The use of printed material for events programs and banquet menus will be avoided, transmitting the information electronically via QR
    • The body temperature of the attendees is taken and recorded before the start of the event.
    • The capacity of rooms and assemblies will be redefined to ensure the safety and distancing of the participants.
    • Guidelines for controlling the flow of people and avoiding agglomerations in inflows and outputs shall be established. (These areas will provide services when health authorities authorize their use)

    Safety protocols for collaborators

    • All employees comply with strict personal hygiene controls and are audited daily.
    • All employees’ body temperature is taken before entering the premises.
    • The footwear is subjected to a process of sanitization.
    • All personnel use protective equipment at all times, which includes face protector, gloves and masks.
    • Collaborators are required to maintain a distance of 1.5 meters between person and person.
